A Honda Civic Type S per chance?
Mine is not a type S...A Honda Civic Type S per chance?
It's even more poverty.
It's just an S
I do maintain it is one of the best cars you can buy for the money. I might fit a hydraulic handbrake to it so that I can do handbrake turns easier.
Guys... Why the mother and school references?

Ahh now I see why you are here, dont feed him guys.
Do you think I won't fit a hydraulic handbrake in my car? You are calling me a troll aren't you? That's not very nice behaviour chap. The car I had 3 cars ago had 2 piston sliding calipers. I upgraded to 4 pistons and decided I needed more. So I then upgraded to 6 pistons and became happy. My old car has 8 piston calipers

Not sure why you've started this thread, OP, but I'm sure you'll elaborate in time. Not sure what is meant by 'proper car'. Perhaps you do?
You can fit a hydraulic h/brake if you like - it will certainly help with handbrake turns, but you need to leave the cable one in as well, otherwise it will fail an MOT.
Enjoyed your 'readers car' entry.

I think the term 'thread not going the way you hoped OP' would be very apt here. You can fit a hydraulic h/brake if you like - it will certainly help with handbrake turns, but you need to leave the cable one in as well, otherwise it will fail an MOT.

I was told to get a proper car by a fellow car enthusiast. My sad feelings originate from the manner in which said enthusiast spoke to me. He had sooo much venom in his voice. It was very disturbing actually
I started the thread in the hope that i would gain some sort of sympathy and feel a lot better for it afterwards
I will fit a hydraulic handbrake at some point so that if i decide to enter my car into an Autocross event it will aid in changing direction whilst having a trade off being 'looking cool'

I never knew there was such a thing a caliper piston envy... pistonheads because brake pistons matter! Why do you folk keep using the term 'troll'?
In fact why be so hostile and negative towards someone? I find it a sad reflection on society in general when folk do their very best to find fault with a person rather than look for good. Maybe it's an indication of insecurity in the negative person who knows? Maybe it's just the 'stuck up, nose up, stiff lip' attitude that PH seems to be plagued with. Almost like playground bullying but by geeks in jumpers who live with their mothers rather than the hard kid off the local council estate.
I was genuinely expecting a little sympathy or at least an honest debate pinpointing exactly what a 'proper' car is? Maybe some of you folk are looking down upon me due to the car I use as my daily hack. Maybe I should speak about my other car which is considerably faster, petrol turbocharged, 18's and Bilsteins as standard and a Geisha goddess as the Sat Nav voice along with the on board oem web browser. Or maybe you want pics of my previous hacks on track or round the ring etc etc. I have them all which I might or might not 'do a thread' about them.
