1) No-one has gone in to buy a CTR and come out with a 1.6S because they found it "more refined". Ever! It's a 1.6S, no-one will berate you for that, but don't pretend it's something it's not.
2) You nearly overtook someone cruising along in a Corsa but then they noticed you and left you for dust. Ask any racer, any real racer...

Cyclists are a strange bunch arn't they?!
I didn't really have enough room to pass him, so I stayed well back until there was a lay by or something he could move into, but he point blank refused to cycle anywhere but the middle of the road. It was quite pathetic really and I smiled to myself. I often see the funny side of things before I get angry. He was obviously trying to make some kind of point, some kind of one man protest for every cyclist in the land... there's no excuse, this wally was fully aware that I was behind him (driving at 4mph with nothing ro look at but his sweaty lycra clad arse bobbing up and down)
I get that cyclist have rights like all road users, but surely if your driving / riding something slow and holding up traffic you'd try to find an opportunity to pull over when it comes up and let the faster traffic pass.
Anyway, after about a mile of this the road opened up and I passed him leaving him loads of room. That when he hit me with his full on fury, A soul destroying blow that would surely result in countless nights of cold sweats, tossing and turning, maybe even bed wetting or the occasional cry wk. "Get a proper car" he shouted
I drive a Boxster and its not even and 'S', so maybe he had a point
