Let's see a side on pic.....and one of the interior too please!

I really can't see the point of replicas of modern cars. They are obviously for people who can't afford the original and will make do with ste performance to make others think they have money. I have no problem with replicas of old cars that have as good/better performance than the original (GT40/Cobra/Lola/Lotus 7 etc)

Bloody hell, that is like buying a fake Rolex and passing it off as real, but about a gazillion times worse.

I bet it cost a lot to build but is probably only worth about £10-15k TOPS.

Might sell in America - they love fake stuff there. Can just picture a lovely couple, him with a shiny set of fake teeth, her with massive fake tits, both climbing into their fake Ferrari.

QUICK EVERYONE

Get really really angry and upset because you might have to face the plain fact that 95% of Ferraris are bought for posing around in and a half decent replica works perfectly well for the same use

I don't dislike it and even the interior looks half decent.
But £50k..... No.

Are those real carbon ceramic brakes?

If he did use OEM parts....why not break the thing and sell it for spares?
According to the eBay link above seems it is! Wow... pretty impressed by effort gone into this replica but I personally well not spend 50k...

It will only fool people who know nothing about cars.
So we are agreed it will fool 95% then? Or are you suggesting it's more like 99%?

Hats off to him as it does look good but a waste of money. See the 109k Ferrari thread for how to really do the Itialian thing.

I'm tempted to offer him a packet of crisps, and whatever change I currently have in my pocket.

ETA: It's £2.30

Can't see who would walk past a 355 for this to be honest.

It says its an auto in the title.

As others have said, I don't hate it, looks like a decent effort but it's too expensive and not fast enough as a "replica" to appeal. At say 10k, maybe 15k tops it would be interesting but 50k is far too rich for an car based on an auto Cougar!

IMO the replicas like this based on a humdrum car work when they're cheap (ie Ferrari looks, Ford running costs), otherwise go the whole hog, space frame, decent engine and do it properly.

Considering what most "replicas" look like, this isn't a bad job at all! Probably £45k overpriced though as it's a knackered old ford underneath.

£50k wow. That's purely bonkers.

That doesn't look very 1:1 to me.

Good effort though.

Yep with those photos side by side like that even to a non Ferrari person like myself its easy to tell which is the real deal, the Cougar based one just doesn't look quite right.
