I'm just amazed that someone on a car enthusiasts' website couldn't recognise an AC Cobra, surely one of the most iconic automobile shapes of all time. Even my mum would have known that.edit: Just rehosting...

And I have no doubt that's a real 289 Cobra, given Horner's love of vintage racing, and ability to afford a real one.
Cobra's seem to be the in car among the F1 paddock these days, with Lewis Hamilton owning 2 x 427 Cobra's.

Except it is not its an AC Ace - I'm amazed that a petrolhead wouldn't be able to tell the significant difference between an AC Cobra and an AC Ace ...Welshbeef said:

Did they out Cobra badges on the front of the Ace???And I too was dismayed and surprised that somebody on here didn't recognise the iconic Cobra.

Not too hard to work out the identity of this Cobra.
Probably one of the most famous of the original RHD 289's, EAB 778B, the car owned new by Lord Lichfield.
The colour, and non-correct hood scoop (fitted at a later date) are give aways' to the car identity, plus it was recently for sale at a well known classic car dealership.
Horner nneds to put the original AC badges back on the bonnet, as being an original RHD 289, it wouldn't have had Cobra badges fitted.

You’re forgetting this is not, exclusively, a car forum, and I make zero apologies for being far more knowledgeable on bikes. Plenty of peeps here would be equally stumped naming classic bikes. I have an interest in cars, but never extended to that kind of vehicle, until I saw those pics.
I do know roughly what a Cobra looks like, but there’s a few that look similar, right? I also knew they’re a US company, and the car was a marriage between a British chassis and a US engine – am I right?

Geri has had a string of engagements (mostly to out-of-the-limelight billionaires) that have came to nowt. Means nothing, except to try and some legitimacy to her shallow relationships.
Fabrizio Politi (funnily enough a business partner of Flavio Briatore) and Evgeny Lebedev (owner of the Evening Standard) are just two of her previous meal tickets she was reportedly going to marry before moving on to the next hanging branch.
Oh, and she's been shagged by Russel Brand, which places her in the 'ultra damaged goods' bucket as far as I am concerned.

You're right:http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyI...
I'd like to think I'd recognise a Jota and a Mk1 Guzzi Le Mans even though I have a talent for falling off of motorcycles.
The MULTI 21 comment is top drawer.
