I was rather hoping this thread would be more about its title than adolescent whinges about the car's passenger. So..Cobras..fabulous car but if I owned an AC 289 (my preferred example ) I would get so tired of saying -

'No, I didn't build it from a kit; no , it hasn't got a tired old Ford V6 , no it isn't a Morgan , yes , it is worth 6 figures , yes the car's exhaust is meant to exit at the rear of the car, no , it isn't compulsory to wear work boots and a bandanna to own one of these , and no, I don't want to see your mate's part built 427 replica with its smokey eighth hand Range Rover engine . You'll know the Jack Sears M1 story of course ..? You don't ?? '.

I was watching a Cobra race this weekend and as ever it was eloquent testimony to the fact that when power exceeds grip then entertainment for all is guaranteed. Or do I mean torque ...whatever...
