The Essex rd Nr Dobbs wier in herfordshire had a level crossing with a bypass tunnel, it was so low i couldn't stand up in it (6Ft4) but regularly drove through it when the coal train was going through the crossing and would take ages to pass, now there's an overpass instead, way less fun it was so low i had to take my whip mag mount off the boot to avoid knocking it off lol
roof racks were a nono, i think once MPVs became popular and kept crashing into it the put the bridge in seen many motors written off on that underpass !

Poor old Giraffe , perhaps it they gave them some goggles and had them facing forwards he could have ducked under the bridge

Driving a car onto the Channel Tunnel train, you go through a series of ever lowering and ever more solid barriers to remind you of the height restriction. it starts with a fairly high rubber dangly thing and ends as a rather solid steel bar. Even though I know my car clears the last one by loads, I still duck each time I drive under it......
That's what I was about to put. It still sts me up in the Golf with a roof box on.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
