Wherever he may be, know that if someone asks for suggestions on which practical family car to buy, his suggestions will involve old American muscle cars.
My favourite "seriously?" suggestion of his was a PT Cruiser convertible as a good option for someone considering a Saab 9-3, Volvo C70, BMW 3 series, Audi A4 and talking about how stylish it was and how it would be a nicer place to be. All backed up with pictures to show just how fking awful a piece of st it was. That one has really stuck with me.1) Jeep Cherokees make an ideal drift car.
2) A Bentley Continental needn't be expensive to run, just get a full oil drum and stick it in your garden for whenever it needs changing.
I think the main reason he left is due to his profile being suspended so often in the end.

There will be another Vladimir though. Just as soon as some old boy suddenly inherits some cash and buys a new car for cash for the first time and feels so proud that they have to mention it on every thread. I'm surprised he didn't just add a signature to save himself some time ever day.
Bought a car with cash, but rents a house... Lol.Studio117 said:

I miss 300 and Vlad too and I always enjoyed reading their posts.
Why?He polluted the forum with utter drivel and passive aggressive nastiness. He's a complete wker, What about when he was offering people out? knob of the highest order imo.

I remember telling Vlad that the reason he was getting low trade in offers on his 335d was because it was a crap spec, he went ape, it was hilarious
300BHP once told me that I had a very strange view on cars. I was quite proud of that, given he was the expert in such matters SturdyHSV said:

Exactly! You need a bit of that to keep things interesting, otherwise PH would just be a circle jerk of CTR/BMW/MX5 drivers talking about finance packages and dabs of oppo.I think PH has completely lost the plot when it comes to this kind of thing.
If you disagree with someone in anything but the most polite terms, you see your posts deleted and a pathetic little message telling you to play nicely. It also seems to be operated on a near-random basis as to which posts get that treatment.
If a car forum cannot accommodate nobheads like Vlad without losing its st, that's a pretty sad indictment of how sensitive people have become. We are all grown ups, and if some idiot wants to be offensive occasionally (but usually accidentally hilarious), I would welcome him with open arms and a few subtle suggestions that he might be a bit wrong and want to chill out.
Banning someone should be the absolute last resort and should be reserved to cases in which he is using racist language, etc.
There is room for everyone, I would hope.

To be fair Vlad wasn't a bad guy. He'd bought a few nice cars in his time, and didn't like people pointing out any of the flaws in them, which is true of many of us
It's just that when he went on the attack he seemed to think he was a rampaging bear, whereas all of us saw a mildly-annoyed hamster. Comedy gold most of the time, but he never really got why the audience were laughing
Still his "Junior Supercar" and "//M Nazis" comments were PH at its very best

Hiw problem was that he didn't take kindly to a 'few subtle suggestions' and would start telling you how you're ugly, poor, have gay cars and bikes, have an ugly wife, and how he's so much more amazing than you in every way, if you dare to disagree, you should go meet him in person because he bets you wouldn't dare say those things to him in person etc.If you disagree with someone in anything but the most polite terms, you see your posts deleted and a pathetic little message telling you to play nicely. A lot of very informed people seem to have become bored and left and PH seem to have kicked out a few too many nobbers. All that means is that the weight of low level guff about dull cars gets more dominant.
