Very strange car hire is this dodgy?

Hey folks so a bit of a strange one, we have hired a car and it has just been dropped off at our work the car is over 8 years old and has a taxi meter, the fuel light is on and it has less than 30 miles range left!? It has been provided by a local car hire company rather than one of the major ones.

I didnt finish college or go to Uni or owt, but the more I think about it, the more I think it could be dodgy. What do you think?

I remember sat out side woolworths (yes, ages ago) in the then girlfriends father black audi A4. While waiting on her coming back from the shops a lady opened the boot, put her shopping bags in and got in the back, instructing me where to take her (leave it).

She was mildly annoyed when i told her i wasn't a taxi.

randomly it wasn't based on price, it was on availability!

Are you sure that what you think is your hirecar is actually a taxi and the driver is off taking a wizz somewhere?
