Flemke - Is this your McLaren? (Vol 5)
Discussion
Hey flemke,
just found a few clips in quite a decent quality on my old computer of your driving the F1 on Nordschleife, can I post them online?
Thanks.

Spot on.
It amazes me that the DVLA are still willing to give out registered keeper's details to what must be thousands of third parties. The obvious thing to do would be for the DVLA instead to keep the address confidential and charge the enquiring third party a fee to contact the registered keeper on behalf of the third party. Then again, these are the same DVLA people who discontinued physical tax discs on the basis, as I recall, that doing so would save them £10m/yr, and the overall response was that their income from road tax dropped by something like £100m/yr.

This one has been up for 15 years apparently.

I don't mind, As I recall, the recording is not very interesting. A friend and I were going around just for the fun of it at a slow pace and I was not aware until later that he was filming it.just found a few clips in quite a decent quality on my old computer of your driving the F1 on Nordschleife, can I post them online?

Kidston just released a video on Schuppan 962cr, another one of the 90s rare hypercars. What peaked my interest is, in one shot they have the rear clamshell open and, guess what.... the thing is lined with gold inside

Newey is a personal friend of Joe Macari (He of the Ferrari dealer in Southfields, London) Which is where AN was visiting. Harrison Newey (His son) also works for JM but I'm not quite sure of his role there.
He did however drive the Road legal CLK LM, that Macari's have for sale

From his mate Collo:
"...[this level of finish was] not common, definitely not, I guess our Schuppan is the only one with this level of finish."
About the F1 (also 1994) being on par with the gold finish:
"Close but probably still not as good..."
Cheers.
The gold adhesive foil is a common material in motor racing. Although it looks exotic, it is not extraordinarily expensive and is normally used for a purely functional purpose."...[this level of finish was] not common, definitely not, I guess our Schuppan is the only one with this level of finish."

Noticed the original wheels are fitted again, Flemke has your development of the brake/wheel/suspension been reverted to factory spec?
