Flemke - Is this your McLaren? (Vol 5)

No, they are not the same chassis.
Thanks, have re-read your post from last Thursday.Just make me think it would be something Peleton25, (Erik ??, would have some insight on).
Then again he does appear to have not posted for a while.
Also in the F1 what, if any Satnav do you use and where do you position it.
B road blast, I'm sure both F1 and P1 would be a hand full on a UK B road and perhaps
to some extent a little frustrating to use in most cases, except for those areas with flat open
farmland eg parts of Lincolnshire. So give the choice would you still favour the F1 over the P1
say on a early Sunday in August.

Mr Kay, thank you for your comment, although I fear that it is kinder than it is accurate.
I hope that we shall meet again, more likely in Shropshire than in Rheinland-Pfalz.
Cheers.
I would be delighted to host you here in Shropshire where we have some magnificent (and largely deserted) roads. Having said that, the roads in Rheinland-Pfalz aren't too shabby either.I hope that we shall meet again, more likely in Shropshire than in Rheinland-Pfalz.
Cheers.

Their servers keep going down though so can't rememeber if they got to the bottom of it.

I would prefer an F1 in pretty much all road driving situations except in the wet.
P1 is never a handful except when its wideness comes into play. Otherwise it is always easier to drive than the F1. It's just not as enjoyable or rewarding.

Now, you'll have to promise in advance that the weather won't be English.

Any interest in the 675LT Spider?
Whether it be a track-orientated 360/430/458 or a 675LT, I am afraid that I do not "get" why one would on the one hand sacrifice comfort in order to create a more hard-core machine, and then on the other hand compromise it with the frivolousness of a convertible top. Like a normal 458 spider or 650S spider is not fast enough, eh? One really needs that extra 5% of performance for those macho laps around Harrods!

Flemke have you ever had a chance to drive an f1 in a computergame? Eg forza 6? And does it even come close to simulating an f1 driving experience?
No, afraid not. I have done almost no driving in computer games. A friend of mine who is a frequent poster on this thread has driven my F1 often and I think he has driven a virtual F1 on a computer set-up. I'll see if he can share his thoughts about it.flemke said:
