Chunj - Is this your Ignis?

Mr C, firstly I'm sure I speak for everyone on the internets when I say thank you for putting 'finger to keyboard' and deigning to engage with us proles. If I may be so bold, a question if you can spare the time - I'd like to know how many horsepowers and torques she's running - is she stock, or has she been 'breathed on' at all?
I toyed with pulling the trigger on one of these a while ago, but sadly the only lease deal I could find required me to donate a kidney on top of the monthly payment (not to mention the potentially ruinous mileage restriction !1!!) Anyone keep up the good work with the Ignis, I think they only made about 250,000 of these - have you met any other owners?
It's running 107bhp. I had it modified to 108, but it simply couldn't handle the additional power.I toyed with pulling the trigger on one of these a while ago, but sadly the only lease deal I could find required me to donate a kidney on top of the monthly payment (not to mention the potentially ruinous mileage restriction !1!!) I haven't met any other owners, but did see one in the Japanese scrappy on Helen Street once. It was red.
Chunj, another here who must tell you how gratifying it is to know a man such as yourself can take time away from Govan, curries and the Ignis in order to allow us into your life slightly.
I hope it isn't to much if i now tell people i know someone who owns an Ignis, this little request would make my life so much better after, please accept my ongoing internet fellatio in return.

Only the finest Casio. It cost a whole £6 from ebay and comes highly recommended by the bomb priming unit of the Taliban.
I too have one of these so us being friends is natural, i also have the stainless steel effect Casio which cost about £14 on ebay, but it is ok rather than make anything of myself my other half bought it for me so i could tell everyone about it as if it's my own achievement. Fun Bus said:
Mr C, may I ask why an Ignis and not a Veyron, Porsche CGT, Enzo or similar? I'd be interested to know your thought process before you decided on an Ignis.
And, if I may have a second question, I think we'd all love to know what other cars are in your collection?!
It was a no brainier, really. I'm brainless. And, if I may have a second question, I think we'd all love to know what other cars are in your collection?!
The exclusivity of a car with only 1500 examples in the UK attracted me. Suzuki's proud heritage of making motorbikes and tinny little st boxes drew me to it too, not to mention that it was only 6 years old, with under 35,000 miles when I bought it and cost me under £3k.
But it's really not about the money. I think the Veyron is crass, the Porsche too clinical and the Enzo looks like a horse with downs.
In my collection I also have a strictly limited Mazda 323F (or type f). I bought that at Coys (ebay) auction for £350. I also have my Berlingo van with a flashy orange light, and will soon have a Polish Fiat 126. I'm sure you'll agree, it's a connoisseurs collection.
In addition, my son has over 400 hot wheels cars...

You are welcome to speak of our acquaintance. It's true that gangsta rappers aspire to be just like me.Fun Bus said:

I'm sure Mr. C wouldn't mind if I jumped in and answered on his behalf by saying he has his reasons and doesn't need to justify his choices to the likes of us. As for what other cars he has, I couldn't possibly mention a certain well known Citroen And, if I may have a second question, I think we'd all love to know what other cars are in your collection?!
PS: Mr C, I've PM'd you about that thing, just thought I'd artlessly allude to that here so everyone is aware we have private conversations.

Mr Chunj, thank you for replying to my post (I think this day may end up being on a par with the birth of my first born.. ) . I haven't met any other owners, but did see one in the Japanese scrappy on Helen Street once. It was red.
Back OT, I've been researching the internet, and it appears the OEM dampers may suffer from orthogonal bifurcative slip (regressive backflow on the secondary oil damper in laymans terms) under certain braking conditions (any braking manoevre above 37 mph apparently).
I assume you were already aware of this, but as I believe your car is a 2006 model (they were only upgraded from January 2007) I would respectfully like to bring it to your attention and if I may be so bold enquire what you've done to address this?

I have only one question....
I was hoping for a reply from the legend Chunj regarding his Ignis (chassis no: 2507.5)
Who the flying fk is this Chunkymonkey?
I am Chunj. DickyC has a habit of typing chunj instead of chunk when he's had a few sherries.I was hoping for a reply from the legend Chunj regarding his Ignis (chassis no: 2507.5)

You could be an imposter.
Only the real Chunj would be able to confirm the Pantone colour code of the engine bay and the and that the rear badge is attached at.

Chunj if I make so bold as to address you by your first name, have you thought about letting Sir Chris of Harris make a video featuring your Ignis or perhaps one of the other PH scribes writing an article about it?
It's too much of an insurance risk. I'm not sure that 'getting semen out of recaros' is covered in my policy.M5Fan said:

If you drove this you probably wouldn't think it had dampers...!Back OT, I've been researching the internet, and it appears the OEM dampers may suffer from orthogonal bifurcative slip (regressive backflow on the secondary oil damper in laymans terms) under certain braking conditions (any braking manoevre above 37 mph apparently).
