Not knowing the colour of the wheels will keep me awake tonight! If you would be so kind as to tell us what wheels they are I would be happy to come round and lick your driveway clean. Pm me if you want to keep if off the forum.

They are the original, pre recall, Mongolian yak bladder white. As they are pre-recall, most of the paint has fallen off to give it the patina of a true endurance racer.../)&€$¥

I've had a picture of an Ignis almost identical to yours on my wall as a kid and I'll probably always dream of owning one of these.
Amazing car, the design still looks fresh after 10 years and yours is probably my favourite example!
It was a well designed car! The designers took an alternative path and gave a monkey a crayon, then repeatedly shouted 'boxes' at it.Amazing car, the design still looks fresh after 10 years and yours is probably my favourite example!

Chunky, a question if I may regarding tyres.
Do you still use the traditional drive in Quick Fit type approach or the new 'pull up with a van and fit them' style companies.
Thanks.
As it's such a performance machine, I don't scrimp on tyres. I go to a very specific garage, known as 'the Asian lads' and they stock special tyres imported from Germany. I believe they are called 'partworn' or something similar!Do you still use the traditional drive in Quick Fit type approach or the new 'pull up with a van and fit them' style companies.
Thanks.

Chunj I assume that you are a very busy person but a question if you can find the time, what makes you think that you know how to improve the car beyond the original factory spec?
It looks like you've fked it up to me.
Hopefully you'll find the time to reply.

I feel that although the original design brief was to make a car without compromise, the designers didn't really factor in enough creature comforts. It looks like you've fked it up to me.
Hopefully you'll find the time to reply.

So I modified it with a magic tree.

Here it is hiding in some long grass. I was very picky about the colour- had it re sprayed to match the colour of a melted dental filling in Hiroshima.

This is a really wonderful shot. It reminds me of those beach selfie shots that the bikini babes do - the ones down to their feet between the lady lumps for the lasses post paedo and pre gravity. Is this what you were aiming for? If so, Chunj, is this your clunge?TokyoSexwhale said:
I know the rear spoiler is there for function (caught the pre-release spy shots on fifth gear), but how much down force does it generate?
Nitrogen for the tyres one assumes?
It generates the equivalent downforce of six squirrels stealing the nuts from a bird table!Nitrogen for the tyres one assumes?
Nitrogen? Pah... Try the farts of a beluga!
The motor sport heritage of the Ignis is unproven unprecedented, And I have the honour of seeing not one but two WRC cars pull up to my location, both extremely broken. but looking glorious in their full factory livery!
I even had the honour of experiencing a service park tour when I returned a part that the driver hadbroken home modified to allow him to be on his way again.
It is something that will stick with me for the rest of my days (in the form of a scar as the part was bloody hot and I didn't realise).
I love the Suzuki brand so much that I bought one of their bobble hats from a merchandise kiosk over a Skoda one that was less than half its price in thereject bargain bin!
(I've not read the f1 thread as its TLDR, so don't know if they ooze over the F1 motor sport stuff, but wanted to be a part of this potentially epic thread)
