Is no one else a little confused by this thread? I mean its only a Suzuki Ignis, but you guys are falling all over this 'Clunje' fellow. Its quite sickening really.

There's a chap on PH with a Mclaren F1, but you don't see an army of sycophants jostling each other to lick HIS boots.
Because Ignis is all about keeping it real.

Like the world famous Japanese racing driver, Mr Spinning Bird-Kick, once said:-

And you can't argue with that.

Your holiness,

It is often said that if you look at an Ignis, it gives you a good idea of the features that would appear on more mainstream cars 10 years before.

Do you find this to be true, and if so, how do you feel that the great unwashed can enjoy 99% or more of the ownership experience of the mighty Ignis merely by buying something older, cheaper, not servicing it for a while and leaving a prawn bhuna under the back seat for a month?

It is indeed true I have a jazz and a Toyota as well.

I am...conflicted. I tried the ignis when I looked at the jazz, but could not see myself driving one. It's too much for me and I'm not afraid go admit it.

I have heard that the fan system used for ventilation in the car is incredibly average.

And a boring question - where are the switches to turn these fans on and off?

Chunj,

If I may, is your enthusiam for the Ignis influenced at all by its manufacturers (Suzuki) foray into China?
As we all know Suzuki was the first Japanese company to start Automobile production in China.

Being aware of your fondness for the Chinese Army and their rather impressive headwear I figured it may have been a deciding factor in you "pulling the trigger" on the Ignis.

If I could burden you with a second question but have you ever considered including the red star of the Chinese Army hat onto the bodywork of your Ignis, possibly as a homage to its place of birth?

I await your response with baited breath.

Hi Chunj. I heard that you were rather peeved when you found out that a motorsport derivative of your Ignis was to be produced. Have you managed to close the (alleged) rift between yourself and the factory? Will you buy this uprated version too?

In my drawing room, pondering pinstriping- or getting a 'no dogs or fat chicks' sticker instead...

Gosh, I know there has been a market correction lately, but didn't expect you to be upside down on the Ignis yet.

Marvellous!

I assume you're currently on business in Australia?

Chunj, forgive me for not keeping up if this has been covered, but with regard to the material of the Ignis cylinder block, is your Ignis one of the earlier types that uses the pink antifreeze, or the later 32 onward chassis that uses the blue colour? Have you had the change made? Is it complete and could you link any details or updates ?

Thanks for reading and contemplating responding.

Dear Chunj,

I guess from the picture you are in your lavatory contemplating.
Could you send me some of your turd as the wife is desperate to recreate "2 girls one cup" with the mother in law.
Naturally as always I'll send you a copy.

As a connected question, which PHer is wiping your arse these days?

No, but I have a manservant called Fido.

I had one called Rover but he was terribly unreliable. Ended up selling him to the Chinese...

Whilst I await your response to my previous question, I do apologise if it has been answered but is it true that your monkey is in fact chunky?

As simians go, it is indeed rather portly.
