That's actually a replica Ignis based on the Austin Metro and not a proper Ignis. You can tell by the rear view mirror.

In the book Gordon Murray described as "breathtaking", there is a chapter all about it. ISBN number is 3867875278.

Chunj,

I've seen people on BMX bicycles who have swapped the standard black tyres for different colours.

I understand that the terminology is called 'Pimping'.

Would you consider such a cosmetic change to the Ignis and if so, which colour would be best suited to it?

I've yet to see an Ignis.

I keep on seeing the occasional BMW i8, Clio V6, random Ferraris and the odd Bentley here and there.

But not one Ignis. Surely it must happen soon. I will be patient ...

You've missed the prime season for these types of hypercars, most owners have them safely cocooned away in their housing estates now. But don't worry a lot of the oil guys will be flying them over for the Christmas shopping in London - Lakeside, Thurrock would be as good a place as any to see one in action.

I'm sick of the sight of McLarens parked outside Govan Lidl!
