Cjung, does the beastie have aerodynamic features? I was thinking that maybe post bevy brawl, it might have a lowered (dare I say gouged) roof line or classic Japanese supermarket inspired door depressions.

Does it have an aero enhancing underfloor diffuser/spare wheel depending on your terminology preference?

I believe it does.

The engine tray under the sump has some loose bolts.

It has, what was described in the press pack, a 'big fk off rear spoiler'.

I have often used it for balancing sandwiches.

Sir clung of govan, I am quite frankly horrified at your last post. Everyone knows that adding a slice of square sausage barm to the air flow impacts both the drag and the overall aesthetic of design. That, and being chased by a pack of drooling dogs is , well, just plain creepy.

Chunj: despite your elevated status in the motoring echelons you appear to have retained a sense of humility and good manners. Is this true of all those with whom your circulate? Rumours persist that some have become arrogant beyond belief.

It's a breath of fresh air to come to this thread and read respectful discussion of these fine automobiles.

Chunj, if I may be so crass, can you ever envisage parting with your vehicle?

Part with it... Clungeke is still deliberating as to what colour to repaint it. He thinks a shade of green will be great, but fears that it might be either too dark, too light or not accentuate the subtle nuances of design. Of course, the swoops and gashes need to be filled in first - it's hard a hard life.

I believe you are referring to the original (and rare) mid brown metallic "Eau de Merde". A classic choice for an Ignis restoration.

Result. It just wouldn't roll off my tongue and annoyed me for the whole day.

I wasn't completely sure myself. I had to go back to the original and well-thumbed Ignis brochure (now a collectors item in its own right) to check. I needed to prise a couple of pages apart but found it in the end.
