Have I told you about the time when a PHer and myself had a spin in the mighty Ignis......

Chunj you must get some new tyres, those ditchfinders will never cut the mustard.

His Chunjesty fitted those to enliven his most recent Track Day. However, when he has the engine up against the rev limiter in top gear along Sauchiehall Street I can assure you the car is fitted with very high speed rated tyres from a reputable manufacturer. As any responsible driver would.

I believe you are referring to the original (and rare) mid brown metallic "Eau de Merde". A classic choice for an Ignis restoration.
Result. It just wouldn't roll off my tongue and annoyed me for the whole day.
I wasn't completely sure myself. I had to go back to the original and well-thumbed Ignis brochure (now a collectors item in its own right) to check. I needed to prise a couple of pages apart but found it in the end.

We've not heard from the man himself for some time; I wonder what he is doing - maybe some engine or handling mods, or maybe having some pinstriping that looks like a vagina on the bonnet.

Chunj, sir, if I may be so bold and you can spare the time - what's happening?

Coincidently, I saw one last night. It was covered in road grime and the alloys coated in brake dust. It's good to see cars like this being used as they are intended rather than just as "garage queen" investments (though I would guess most owners, even if they use them, will over-winter them until the salt has been washed from the roads).

Chunj has taken the controversial decision to induce corrosion to his alloys (thankfully exacerbated by the winter season.)

This serves more than one purpose. Not only does it serve to strip paint from the alloys (making them lighter), it also has a pleasing aesthetic effect that really shows people that he means business.

Apologies to Chunj in advance for replying on Chunj's behalf, however I know how busy you are and how precious your time is and that you probably have very little time to reply directly to the mere mortals on this thread?

Chunj, how do you believe the Ignis compares to it's predecessor, the "Cultus".

Stick with me, kid. It's amazing how much devotees can do with mildly misused nasal hair clippers.

I know that you're busy Chunj and I would be flattered to receive a reply from an immortal like you, but have you managed to check if this is indeed your Ignis.
