No, it was never the intention to make it exclusive. Everyone is welcome. It's just that whimsy* isn't everyone's thang. Imagine stumbling on to it. "WTF is going on here," folk must say to themselves. Some bounce off it, some pop in and out, some stay. We're a broad church.

It was a typical ACO trumped up breach of regs thing. Chunj and Team Ignis did so well in practice that the stewards dredged up some antediluvian rule about cars with 12V ancillary sockets* as standard are ineligible.

Moving through the traffic like silk through your fingers, an Ignis slid into the overtaking lane in front of me. I was in awe. Could it be the fantastically rare Six Cat Paw Stickers Up The Rear Windshield model? It was!!! I could hardly believe it. As the suckers on its after sales sunshades held fast and protected the identities of the pilot and his VIPs so, like a ballet dancer on her points, the Ignis, tippy toe on its elegant slender tyres, powered away from me into the distance and was gone from my life forever. It was there, then it was gone.

What a moment! A moment I shall always treasure.

The reason I ask is because I had her up to almost 40 on the long straight past The Swan when I heard what I first thought was a wheel bearing on the way out but was in fact the Police Helicopter in 'Hat Passoott.' Don't worry, I shook them off by turning into the Labyrinth Industrial Estate.
