Dude, first things first. There is a caps lock button on your keyboard. After that, don't let him get away with it.

OP - try having a word with the courier company, and inform them what your old boss is up to. Your old boss will have more than £95 to worry about then I bet?

Who were you employed by, the courier company or the boss?

Whose name was the fuel card in?

Whose van was it?

If you take this via small claims make sure you name those (individuals and company) you are claiming against very carefully and fully.IE not just the person or company but all parties then you would have more chance of your debt to be recovered.
CAB may help guide you.

Pay the bill and slash your ex bosses tyres or pour paint thinner over his car... too far?

Why did you leave on the same day? If this was out of contract terms the company may have a claim against you for costs incurred by you quitting, presumably without notice.

I don't mean to sound like a (complete) wally, but I am a product of the British state school education system and i am absolutely staggered by the language I encounter (spoken and written) these days. I know that 'you know why I mean', so why bother with the correct grammar et al? But you are never going to impress with poor grammar, punctuation and spelling.....

Why spend your life being, well, unimpressive?

Sod the £95. Chalk it up to experience. And then buy a book that was written at least fifty years ago and read it.

I'm new here, but a veteran of other forums and I agree completely with your post. You are a lot more believable if you can write correctly.
