If you download a PDF of the brochure from Citroen's website, there is a picture of them on page 32.

One outside our local Citroen garage, very nice looking motor. Beige paint with brown panels suits it.

Same outside my local, but it's pre-reg and still £18k......

No, not looking for one, I was just surprised by the price, given it was supposed to be around £12k when first touted - makes a lot more sense at that price....

I'm guessing that's quite a high spec trim with a diesel engine. We took an order for one this morning with auto box and leather which was a bit of a surprise.

I hope it doesn't turn into Citroens Fiat Multipla, ie rated highly by the motoring media, but bought by nobody.

Brave.

The Fiat Multipla ( the early 1960s 600) was a fantastic car though as driver you do sit a 'bit' close to the car/ lorry in front.

Is it going to end up as the next Mini/Smart Marketing/estate agent's vehicle?

I.e. you can digitally print your company logo on the rubbery panels?

I've been looking at these tonight. I've ordered the brochure and had a bit of a fiddle on with the configurator tool on the Citroen website. The spec I want isn't all that expensive. Either yellow or teal, with the 110 petrol engine and the midrange trim pack. The only options I'd have would be the panoramic roof and a spare wheel. Comes to just over £16,000

I'd have been tempted by a new Insight but you can't buy those new anymore, so perhaps a lightly used dealer approved Insight would work. I'm after a car to keep for a decade and use as a workhorse. I'd expect to have done maybe 90,000 miles at a push after ten years use. I've got the motorbike for having fun, but as a commuter/ferry for the family, a C4 Cactus or Insight would be ideal, I'm not really bothered about having a fast car for day to day stuff.

I've had mine just over a month. The teal (lagoon blue) is lovely with grey airbumps, was my 2nd fave colour. I went for deep purple with black bumps and white mirrors, roof rails, rear cactus logo.

Advice....fork out for the top of the range Flair trim. Pano roof is a must. Very happy with mine.

I need to have a proper look at the brochure to see what's contained in the top spec trim pack, but it mostly looks like things I won't need or use. I'm not even sure if I want to spec leather seats or not, but I might well do because they're easier to clean. I'm not fussed about resale value because I intend on keeping the car so long, but I would expect to have to order a car to spec as I doubt there will be many in the dealer network with the panoramic roof.

I'll hopefully get a test drive soon, with a view to getting one for next summer.

I rather like the look of these, there's a black one near me which looks very smart. Could be a potential replacement for the OH-mobile. This guy doesn't appear to think much of it though!

Any owners think he's talking bks or has a point with some of the criticisms (particularly the interior)?

I ran a 1.2 Petrol base model for a day a courtesy vehicle. I loved it. In fact I was so impressed I started a thread

Though I really enjoyed it I have to admit that it's nowhere near as accomplished as, say, a Ford or VW. As I said quirky and flawed.

How could anyone take his opinion seriously when he writes like such an abject ? I am always amazed when CAR proclaims itself to be 'the best car magazine in the world'.

My Cactus , a mid spec petrol , is a year old this month and can't speak too highly of it really. Utterly faultless , very comfortable for long journeys ( taken me to S France 3 times already! ) and averages in the 50s mpg. Far more interesting than all the usual German competition and turns heads even in France but it is lurid yellow! Only things I would wish were better are the low speed ride and the heater controls would be better with old fashioned knobs

Good to hear. Is that the 82bhp N/A or the 110bhp turbo petrol?
