A set of winter tyres will do a much better job than 4wd and will allow you not to have to run a 4wd the rest of the time. Win - win.
A set of winter tires on an AWD would obviously be the best option, but I suppose when one does not understand traction, comments like this are inevitable.
Your new thing is Freudian projections I have noticed. When you don't understand something (like the traction circle) you then try and tell those who politely try to explain to you the basics that THEY don't grasp the most basic concepts.
Projection is your specialty, along with the staw man argument. laugh
Hilarious. By your standards anyway.

You realise that you just did another projection, right there ?

Anyway, are you coming to the Ring ? Or do you stick to the internet ?

Do you guys fancy doing this by PM rather than ruining my thread. Thanks.

Of course not, but all credit to your continuing quest smile
LOL. I know. But what the guy doesn't realise is that it's an honest offer. I find that apparent weirdos like him can be quite normal face to face.

And I would genuinely love to learn something, or simply get him a beer. Been driving on track for 30 years, some of it competitively but I can't remember a time where I didn't learn anything, particularly at the Ring where humility is definitely de rigueur !

I only ask because I get email notifications for this thread. It's a bit of a let down when you think someone might have posted an alternative car and you find that it's just two guys whacking each other with handbags. biggrin

Fair point. I shall refrain from publicly inviting the guy to show what he can do, as you can imagine I was so keen on knowing more about this :
