Bikers might think again when they are ducking and diving through traffic

And car drivers might want to do mirror-signal-mirror-manoeuvre rather than embracing the paradigm of signouvring - which is mildly more insulting that just manoeuvring - whilst plodding through traffic.Nice landing, though.

Should I give filtering up?http://www.fleetpoint.org/video-post/watch-dare-am...
because then I might as well give motorcycling up.

I would agree with you, it needs to work both ways, everyone should let everyone else know what they're doing, however, that particular biker was obviously travelling much faster than the rest of the traffic, therefore, it's very possible that the car driver simply didn't appreciate the closing speed.Nice landing, though.
Filtering is fine, but the biker in that situation should take the majority of the blame.

I do agree with more regular scanning of mirrors and being aware of whats around you more (which doesn't happen very often) which might have mitigated what happened in this instance.

That seemed to be way more than just passing slow traffic.

Incredible!
50/50: Car drivers' lack of observation, and motorcyclists inappropriate speed differential in close quarters.

50/50 ?
You're a biker right?
In Belarus I'm sure the driving laws are not exactly the same as UK's highway code, but to anyone watching that vid I'm fairly sure that its plain to see that the biker is at fault 100% for trying to go for a gap diagonally between cars from lane 1 at that speed differential. In anybody's book that should be clear to see.

No, I'm not a biker. I just wouldn't feel comfortable or consider it safe to appraoch a line of traffic and attempt to go for a small gap at that closing speed; there didn't appear to be even two car lengths between the vehcile filming and the black car which eventually pulled out - without indication and seemingly without any prior observation either.50/50 ?
