Having seemingly jinxed myself saying I'd never had a problem with them...

Some of my order is wrong, they've delivered it correctly as per what I've ordered through the website but following through with the Lemforder part number shows two of these parts to be incorrect. Is it possible to return only these incorrect parts or is it the whole hassle of returning everything and re-ordering the appropriate bits?

To add to that, with Eurocarparts being linked could it be easier to stop into the nearest ECP store and explain the situation?

Well, no st. Given the time I was wondering if someone knew first hand what they're like to deal with.

You can return individual items but can be hard work.

It took me a couple of months to get a refund on an E36 water pump. Their delivery chaps collected it (Yodel I think) but failed to deliver it back to the CP4L depot. Trying to get a refund on something which officially according to their system had not been returned was a struggle. Luckily had a confirmation number from the pickup.

Took quite a few emails and phone calls to sort.

Must admit I now just buy from ECP as you can return in store (and more recently the prices have been identical).

Surely you could ice the marzipan as you would a cake? Voila some structural integrity!

ECP stores will not assist, nothing to do with them even though cp4l are a subsidiary of the parent co.

cp4l are utterly fking useless in my experience and the tiny little bit of service you gain by using ECP direct is worth the extra

Working for somewhere that does mail order let me take some educated guesses:

They probably have a customer services department
They will probably refund you for the wrong bits provided they are in resalable condition with packaging
You'll probably have to ring their CS dept and get a returns number and such (e.g. wouldn't just post the bits back)

That's usually how it goes with these situations?
