Head fking gaskets.

Pain in the arse, usually some really obscure problem.
Like a rotor arm that worked fine till it got over 3k and warm, once the engine was hot it shorted out.

Plugs that die and spark up the barrel after 300 miles.

Digital su fuel pump intermittently failing.

Coil packs on bmw's, and Mazda.

Maf on the tvr and bmw.

Lucas parts made with hopes and wishes falling apart.

Snapping auxiliary belts (3 now, must inspect more carefully!) and number plate bulbs!
