That was the exact picture I had just copied to my clipboard thinking of this thread. I really can't understand why they did this to the final edition S8's. They were fantastic cars with a high specification, but I'm flabbergasted as to why they thought purple and red would be the best choices!

The first Boxster I ever drove was an S with a red interior. It was vile. The owner hated it too, but now she has the last laugh as she owns an R8 these days!

I'd actually love a car with a dashboard like that. Looks bloody brilliant, only difficulty is how do you indicate while steering in such a way that the steering column thing is obscuring the relevant button?
