Things that put you off even reading a car ad?
Discussion
ANYTHING WRITTEN IN CAPITALS.
Or POA (not that I could afford anything that is listed as POA).
Or listing the things it's not - often coupled with capitals (AUDI TT NOT PORSCHE BOXSTER, CAYMAN, MERCEDES SLK). I know it's not any of those things, you didn't have to tell me.
Or a wall of writing with no punctuation or spaces, especially if written in capitals.

Pay the £50, repair it and get rid of the sentence from your advert.
An unexpected MOT bill that was almost a quarter the value of the car means I don't have the money to fix it. I don't want to leave out the minor dent from the advert. I can't think of a better way to explain it.The quote was £140, not £50, in my instance.

Makes me think you've addressed the problem but haven't gone ahead and paid for it. What else has the owner not fixed after seeing the price?

Don't mention it, it is a used car after all - just don't advertise it as "mint" or "in exceptional condition". If somebody rings you about it, tell them straight away. Also tell them they can either have £150 off the price or if they pay asking price and leave a deposit, use that to get it fixed before they take it away. The quote was £140, not £50, in my instance.
Somthing which annoys me is something which someone else mentioned on a different thread recently... "starts first time" Of course it does pin head, we're not in the 1940's any more!! Grrr!
