Isn't that an S-Type? (from the first incarnation of course).
I'm at work, so vid is "Blocked by my Organisation", however from the still that is definitely a Mk11.

They had a Caravan DD at the end of the day at Foxhall Raceway, Ipswich as recently as Bank Holiday Monday. I was there, it was messy...

Remember World of Sport ? they used to show all the usual stuff (Horses, Wrestling, Football) and then, randomly they would show something like this or Stock Cars, once I saw Bus Racing on there.

I have a feeling that that race was indeed shown on ITV's World of Sport. Dickie Davis was the presenter and he was laughing after this was shown.

Reminds me of the time I watched Ice cream vans v's Ambulances as a kid on a figure of eight track! Music and sirens blearing. I can't remember who won. Still makes me laugh today.
This sounds awesome!
Best. Race. Ever. F***in' genius.

I, too, am old enough to remember this: Saturday afternoons glued to the telly awaiting the next race (they interspersed motorsport with whatever else was happening that day - a scheduler's nightmare).

BBC Grandstand did it too, from memory, with Muddly Talker doing the commentary from Lydden Hill. It was usually only shown in winter and hence incredibly muddy.

Happy days.
