Great article, thank you. In terms of the names (or numbers I suppose!) I think that the production 964 Turbo was the 965, and the V8 prototype car here the 969. http://www.flachbau.com/Documents-Media/965_Master...
I agree that the MB museum is better than the Porsche as it covers much of what was going on in society for the 20th century, even the more sinister elements around MB's involvement with the Nazis during WWII.
I also visited RUF and saw the V8 911. Amazing car but if I remember correctly, they hadn't yet got the engine approved for production. Once this happens (which it might by now), the same engine is going to be put in the CTR with whopping great turbos attached. That will be some car.
