Hey I have found a rust hole on my car, as I was in the process of doing some rust treatment its under the bonnet and behind the bumper.

Is this in a structural position i.e an mot failure

Hey, where is the rust hole? Is it the round black one on the right?

And did you squeeze a zit just before you took the pic?

Don't they have to be within 300mm of braking or suspension joints?

What car, where's the hole, is it a bracket, is it part of the original car or a bolt-on, what does the bracket do…….etc etc.

Your question at present is similar to saying "there's a button on my car which won't work, why?"

Help us out a bit.

They is taking the P.

Depends on an awful lot of things -- what car, is it structural, is it in 300mm of a prescribed area (you'd be surprised how much area that can cover).

Better pics, what car, etc. will help. But just about anything can be repaired.

I think corrosion within 300mm of a structural part of a car (eg seat belt mount, chassis rail) is an MoT failure but I'll no doubt be corrected by someone who knows what they're talking about smile

ETA just seen the previous post...

Hey guys what the button in my car please?

How can anyone help you with a photo like that cant even work out what its meant to be or where in the car. Also looks like you have put rust proof stuff on top of paint which will do naff all.

Would also help with what car it is too.

Hi guys,

What sort of car should I buy next? BTW, while you're at it, should I divorce my girlfriend or just hammer some frozen sausages into my neighbour's lawn?

I suspect it's just the bumper beam.
Its probably worse where you can't see it.

I wouldn't worry about it.
