If that letter is real then how come every new licence I have seen has an amber light?
I have seen loads of new licences and so has my mate in the LGV training industry

How can that letter make sense? It refers to a car, so how should that affect YOUR license if someone else was driving it? Seems funny to me, especially as there is no mention of it that I can see on the Government website. It is more than likely just a design, like the steering wheel. I need to renew mine soon as I am moving address, so I'll be able to see what I get back. I have zero points, never had points, have no pending convictions.

That's a cracking letter. Definitely genuine.

I'm surprised the address isn't for their HQ in Nigeria, mind you wink

That letter makes no sense at all. Some sort of wind up.

Definately Cobblers that, unless everyone recently issued with a licence has a prosecution pending.

Either KFC is trying to fool all of PH, or someone has fooled him.

I have an amber signal on my licence which was renewed early this month for a picture update, no news of any prosecution though.

I've had a look at the online leaflet that accompanies a licence, there is no mention of the traffic lights so I guess it is just an additional marking to help prevent counterfeiting.

Has anyone tried tilting the licence to see if the symbol changes colour at different angles as did the steering wheel?

Yes and it doesn't.

Mine's orange and I've got convictions.

Looks like orange is just standard.

Well, there is trolling and there is giving out false information. Which he did both.

faking dvla letters seems to take trolling a bit too far

also failing to change the date to the right year was a big fail
