faking dvla letters seems to take trolling a bit too far
also failing to change the date to the right year was a big fail
Agree, also failing to change the date to the right year was a big fail
there is a joke and trolling and there is EXTREMISM which KFC went to extreme lengths to fake a letter.
The only thing funny here is him going through the effort to fake a letter than making a mistakes on it. EPIC LOL.

Hilarious that the letter can't even spell licence, too - perhaps the most obvious failure.

I imagine that was done purposely, as you see from his first contribution to the thread licence was spelt correctly. It is a commonly misspelt word amongst the forum and a favourite of posters to pick up on. there is a joke and trolling and there is EXTREMISM which KFC went to extreme lengths to fake a letter.

You didn't really think he went through all that trouble to try and make people believe it did you?

Anyone know what the traffic light icon/symbol is on the back of the new NEW style driving licences?
Is yours amber? red? green?
Do you have points at all?
Just trying to work out if amber or red means points...etc
Anyone know?
i also have the amber light on the traffic lights on the back of my card but not aware that i have anything pending or any convictions. there's lots of conflicting information about these traffic lights and starting to get worried. So, i logged onto the DVLA to look to see if i can see anything pending, filled out the online form, nothing was matched but i was given a number to call. called got through within minutes (very shocked by this!) spoke to a lovely lady who said this DOESN'T mean anything pending NO convictions. She did a full check for me to confirm i don't have anything on my licence. She explained it's something to do with their printing security and nothing to worry about. Is yours amber? red? green?

Hello and welcome to the forum, you may want to read this thread again from the beginning.Defintive answer: It's a security feature - https://twitter.com/DVLAgovuk/status/6282213022187...

It's purely a security feature. Think about it, how can it mean points pending when your licence hasn't left your wallet, the lights on your licence didn't suddenly change colour when you got nicked did they. Your licence only changes when you send it in to DVLA
It's made from crystals, each with thier own unique resident frequencies, the dvla have a big transmitter in Cornwall that sets the colours of them. The plan is to be embedding them into people's hands within the next 5 years, which will mean no one will need to bother carrying the photo card any more.
