So many on here aspire to being "classy", why ?. who are you trying to please, yourself or others ?
I'm quite sure that a lot of people on PH please them selves pretty much every day.

Agree with Q7/X6 etc
Any large white SUV looks pretty tasteless IMHO
Proton or Perodua

Audi RS3 (nainly because of those wheels)

Not this car particularly but any Audi/BMW/Mercedes that could have looked quite classy in a dark colour with silver wheels will be ruined by the white paint/black wheels combo!

Plus, I think all these types of vehicle look gash and with a bit more imagination their owners could have bought something nice instead.

and probably the worst offender of all!

Stereotypes are so bad, everyone does it I know.

Honestly, I can't hate or disrespect anyone thats decided what car and colour they want. It's their choice. They could have liked it for reasons that are beyond me and you, or anyone for that matter.

Well spotted, that does make my teeth itch, not because its a "class" thing, just because it is the wrong word !

A girl that works for me does it, but she is from London, where it is normal, along with "Can I get".

"Can I get" is universal amongst da yoof and people pretending to be young/stupid. It's an import from the USA.

My car is far from special, I chose it as it was the car that appealed to me most within my budget, reliability, fun factor, nice looking... at the time. I think most people who buy brand a new white audi with the base trim are cocks. I say this not out of jealousy but because generally speaking they wish to portray an image of something that they are not by buying into the audi brand.

As has been pointed out they could buy the same car in skoda guise and save thousands or they could have a better performance car for the same money, but they have bought the audi to portray an image which is why I think they are cocks, not jealousy. If someone drives past me in a gt86 I don't think what a cock I think that's a nice car good for them, they could have bought a a4 and kept up with the jones' but they chose not to.
Congratulations sir, probably he biggest load of ste I have seen on the internet in a fair while, well done.

It's not really car specific a lot of the time. 99.99999% of cars sporting white paintwork with huge black wheels, for me, show a lack of any sort of class.

For example a new FFRR in a tasteful dark metallic colour with the smallest available (silver) wheels is a fine vehicle, the same thing in white with 27" white rimz is just instant Katie Price.

Any time I see the typical 'white audi bashing', then I click on the posters garage, he's always driving something st in comparison. I can only assume a lot of these type of posts are fuelled by the green eyed monster...
Or maybe they just don't like white Audis?

I see the jealousy card played a lot on PH, but not everybody is envious of things they dislike.

Maybe you are envious of people with more prestigous cars than yours (whatever you drive), and just assume everyone else is a saddo too.
I think the point about Audi's is they are fashionable with the allmost making it types ,younger professionals and the aggressive sales people types in pointy shoes and sharp suits who are out to prove something! it used to be BMWs these tend to be driven aggressively and with a lack of respect for what they see as lesser people in other cars most seem to be former chavs with a thin veneer of respectability they would have been driving someting like a corsa previously
So they haven't got much idea about what makes a good car.. Audi to me shouts lack of imagination and Mr average ..

I don't know about the cars being discussed, but there's a distinct lack of class about most of the posts in this thread. I can only assume that those so quick to criticise others spend all their time discussing Satre whilst driving a 60s GT Ferrari through the Tuscan hills. Wearing Saville Row's finest. Listening to Rachmaninov.

Yeah, sure they are...is it beyond the comprehension of your tiny mind that maybe there is a reason people bash white Audis, because the thread title asks what car in our opinion has little class, what car in our opinion we'd be embarrassed to show up somewhere classy driving, and that maybe our opinion differs from yours?

Do one.

Edited by yellowbentines on Friday 29th August 13:26
You'd be embarrassed in a white V10 Audi R8????

I wouldn't.
WTF? where did I say that? some random selective quoting there sir.
Apologies my good man, quoted the wrong person. NOI.

ETA When I bought my wife a white Audi (it's got rotor wheels and tinted windows biggrin ) I made a comment to the salesman about the fact that my blonde wife in a white Audi would 'look a bit Essex'. Guess who else had bought their wife a white Audi???? Whoops.

Personally I like the way her car looks. Don't mind driving it at all.

If there's no blue badge, it supports dvs_dave's argument.

Even more so if it's badged up as a Bentley.

Well I saw a white Audi S5 convertible S-Line on the 20" seven spoke rims today, and I thought it was a very nice looking car.

Didn't strike me as chavvy at all.

Surprised you even wasted time to respond to an obvious troll.

Surprised on a car site their is so much bitterness aimed at a company who make an effort to make decent driving cars.

Certainly a lot of BMW haters on here.
Ha ha good one.

Believe me there is no hatred for BMW drivers, the only hate comes from BMW drivers towards themselves.
