What car defines the polar opposite of 'a gentleman's conveyance'
What car would you least like to pull up in outside claridges or a smart hotel
What car would only be brought by some sort of grunting troglodyte handy with the finance forms

It doesn't necessary mean cheap in financial terms,

I'm thinking a lime green focus ST has to be up there (although, to be fair, the new one isn't too outlandish), or the new civic type R

I'd say it'll be some monstrosity by Kahn or another such company.

Rubbish. Something like a 530d Touring in a nice colour is a very understated and classy car.

Matt black M3 or an X6 with big wheels and you may have a point.

Surprised you even wasted time to respond to an obvious troll.

Surprised on a car site their is so much bitterness aimed at a company who make an effort to make decent driving cars.

Certainly a lot of BMW haters on here.

Although horrific, i'm not on about modified cars. I'm taking about pre ruined, straight out the factory.

I'm on about this sort of thing.....

The sort of car that you are actually embarrassed about on behalf of the owner

BMW X4 - to me it says that you wanted the dubious image of the X6 but couldn't afford it.

You could say that about almost any car though. What do you drive? I bet there is a nicer model ahead of it that you wanted but couldn't afford"

I see a pattern emerging....there's 2 of these in my street, both badly driven by fat, orange 'full-time mummys' and frequently seen bumped up on kerbs on zigzag lines at the local schools.
