Hi guys, just installed a Sparco steering wheel and need some help with airbag resistors. I knew the airbag was going to come on, it flashes five times then steady until I turn the engine off. Just wondering what resistor to use, car is a MK5 Ford Fiesta. Thanks.

Something round about a 3.3 Ohm resistor usually does the trick, you will need to have the light reset afterwards.

Cheers, so I just buy whatever 3.3 Ohm resistor that comes up on google or is there a specific car type? Also, how do I go about resetting it. The light came on before my MOT when I removed the seat tensioners, once I plugged them back in however, the light went out.

Maybe, if you are lucky, it will go out with a resistor in place, but most cars will keep the light on if a fault has triggered it until it has been fully reset.
There's a software called Forscan which might be able to reset the airbag light with an OBD2 type reader from ebay.

You can get the resistors from Maplin or similar, nothing too special needed.
Hopefully it'll be similar to the resistance of the device with a problem.

Obviously that part won't work if there is now a resistor in its place.
