I enjoy it.
Mike's "out and about" sections are pretty interesting too, specially when he's visiting manufacturers and Repairers/restorers of the various parts.
I'm looking forward to the new series.
I was amazed by the process used for the carbon fibre "look" in the last series I watched.Mike's "out and about" sections are pretty interesting too, specially when he's visiting manufacturers and Repairers/restorers of the various parts.

Not so long ago, parked my 1956 series 1 Land Rover on Starbucks car park while I went off in another vehicle with someone else.
Came back and there's some cat looking around my series 1 'he looks familiar'...
Only me mate Ed China weren't it?
Top guy, great down to earth dude, had a great chat about 'stuff'.
Yep got the selfie!

Good point. I think my favourite was when Mike went to a specialist carpenter to get the back half of a rotten Morris Traveller fixed up- looked like an amazing place.I have learned quite a bit from Ed over the years, but for me this benefit is secondary to the amount of confidence the show has inspired for me to do my own mechanical work. I have been watching the show since before I had a car and I will continue to do so.
It's particularly interesting to see a variety of jobs on a variety of cars... who knew a Renault Alpine wheel bearing was retained by a big threaded plug? I enjoyed Ed's workaround, welding up a tool from a few offcuts of angle to get it undone.

I think you might find that the person who posted the "Haha Thanks Buddy" post above ISN'T actually the 'real' Mike Brewer.
I did wonder, I heard that he did post on PH.His profile had another name to it, wondered how someone had posted using a different name than the PH name on profile.
And to think I was gonna offer to treat him to a bacon sarnie!
If it isn't him then he's posting up under the pretense of being a good egg.
