It's certainly not user friendly anymore hence I rarely browse like used to. I'll often look at eBay and AT before PH because the interface just makes it a pain.

I used to use the PH classifieds all the time to buy and sell. I rarely look at them now and never advertise a car on here. My lack of interest coincides with when they started charging for adverts. Now I find the majority of the stuff on here is from dealers and lots of it is boring stuff. PH classifieds used to be my go to place for looking for the weird and wonderful.

My searching routine now goes Ebay > Forums specific to the car > Auto Trader > Gumtree > Pistonheads
This.. Searching for a nice 330 or something which PH used to be full of, loved ones too.. and all you get is 3 year old 320d's from dealers.

I think the new format ruined it.
Same here. I used to find loads of interesting stuff but now it's just Astra diesels, hire cars or falsely priced "we want your 911 clients waiting" adverts

With luck, the head of PHC will read this theead, have a rethink, and re-change the website design.
No chance.

There are Feedback and "Test Team" forums and many threads even there aren't replied to.

I gave up trying to sell my wife's R56 Cooper S a couple of months ago. Before then I'd had great success selling cars through PH, but with virtually no interest I just sold it to a mate of mine in the trade. He sold it in no time. Why? He can offer finance. People don't want to pay outright for cars unless they're less than about £5k nowadays I don't think.

If I saw one referred as that, I wouldn't buy it on principle
Universally what they are called on here and a lot of other forums.

I've had nothing but time wasters from PH ads in the past. AT & eBay have been better. Charging new members to post ads will surely reduce usage of the classifieds even if, and I know it's a contentious opinion, the navigation is better since the revamp.

I haven't used them for a good couple of months. It's an annoying waste of time trying to view anything in the PH Classifieds now; don't know if it's just because I'm on an iPad? But it's got to the point where I don't even bother know.
Which is pretty serious, as I used to spend more time on them than the forums!
With you on this one. Used to enjoy popping into the classifieds to have a look around at what was out there. Ended up buying a 205 gti on a whim as it caught my eye and was just up the road. Not easy to explain why we needed one to mrs Rex.
Now it is just a painful experience in there on any type of device.

I was looking at Citroen C6's last night.

About 30 on the bay and Autotrader. 1 on PH.

Still not sure I'm brave enough....
