Vectra in a skirt.
Typical uninformed response. About as accurate as saying an Audi TT is a Skoda Yeti in a dress - after all they both share the same platform too.
No, a TT is a Golf with two seats, in a dress.

I ran one (1.9TiD 150bhp) for a year and found it drove very nicely and was very comfortable. Mechanical parts were no issue to source at all, but I never needed any body or trim parts. There are plenty of specialists out there such as Nordic who I would think could provide them.

Certainly provide a lot more car for the money than your equivalent German marques.

I ran a '57' 1:9tdi vector sport convertible for 22 months & 92,000 miles. Never missed a heartbeat, never touched any oil....100% perfect! Miss it.
