As I read it you are saying it is actually a pig, but being a Ferrari pig, that's OK.
What you have remember is that this is a streetable race car, not a streetcar you can race, therefore it will always be compromised. Enzo at at this time was not interested in street cars, he only really agreed to build them this way as it helped the race side of the business. As Chris stated these cars only really come alive down a French country B road at 100mph+. Personally I would put up with its manners just for the chance to enjoy those summer 5am drives down my favorite A roads

I think i'm one of the few people who just doesn't get the old Ferrari thing.
This really doesn't do it for me in the slightest. I'll save my nuts.
This morning stuck in traffic by Streatham Common my early morning commute was interrupted by the vision of a Silver Ferrari 275 GTB/4 coming in the opposite direction. Its sheer presence, beauty and noise amongst the everyday hum drum commuter’s cars explains why people like me go week at the knees on these occasions. I would suspect a number of whip lass injuries were caused as it drove pastThis really doesn't do it for me in the slightest. I'll save my nuts.
I was just looking at the black/white shots taken back in 1958

In those shots it wouldn't make anyone sit up and look, like it does now all modern and fresh showroom finish and supposedly worth nearly £5million: one of nine built wasn't it?
Yet I look at the car pictured here, just two built - one a competition car (No. 1) that had just one outing and won outright against some very stiff opposition (ie Lightweight Low Drag E-type 2nd) and now also at a September auction with a very lowly estimate (compared to the 250TDF!) of £180k, and there was one more, No. 2, a road version, pictured here just a few short years after those photos of the Ferrari 250TDF.
The lights in the front rad opening on both cars made me think of it.
And somebody saying the bumpers (overriders) looked Austin Healey ...what, you mean Frogeye?
Well, that's 'exactly' what's on No. 2!
I like the Ferrari, who wouldn't (some on here don't!) but that's because it's a dream - except for the filthy rich.
The other car I mentioned though, No. 2, in the picture, was the road version. So only two built. I know where this one is today and boy would I like to get hold of it, when it's all screwed back together.
Still, dreams are what you make them. I do have the next best thing.
