It's obviously a subjective matter but I think the rear looks sleek and elegant as does the profile and the front has a look of intent.

What other high end saloons are out there that look more elegant or distinct from their peers?
Agreed. It's really stylish. On a separate point, it's interesting how many criticise AML for producing many similar(ish - they are actually quite distinct) coupes, and then when a truly different car comes along from the same manufacturer the car also attracts criticism.

I like the side profile a lot. But then it seems they ran out of time/money/ideas.

I like it. I've seen the camo test car about, and this looks really smart uncovered. Mind you, i love the Town's wedge cars in any case.
The original (new generation) Rapide should never have been built in Graz, and along with the Rapide S (thankfully now built in England) should both have been badged Lagonda and not AM.

Is that the longest car I've ever seen? Perhaps.

I suspect the only reason it won't be on sale in the UK, is that if you park in any UK space, the car will protrude by about 8ft. smile

Correct. No type approval for Europe or the USA. Will be very exclusive, limited numbers, high price. And its not an Aston its a Lagonda.
I bet you'll still be able to see one out the back of Harrods next summer, though. hehe

If not inside H.A. Rod's corner shop with a for sale sticker before then?

The rear three quarter view does not go well with the front view - looks heavy and unbalanced to me.
Absolutely. The rear third looks a bit of a mess, IMO.

It also looks huge. Maybach-sized huge.

Squint and it's a black Skoda Superb 2 lol. It's ok but I've seen better, it's really an odd shape. Also where does this fit in against the Rapide? Is this more Maybach than drivers car?

To be clear - no-one but the middle east is going to be able to buy one?

That one must have passed some approval as its registered on UK plates?

I liken it to one of those women, who aren't conventionally good looking, but they're attractive and you can't quite work out why. It's a design that will certainly divide opinion.

I do love Astons, probably one of my overall favourite looking brands, but that is UGLY frown
I think it looks lovely. Has to be the best looking saloon at present?
Its a completely uninspiring and bland design.

Thats said, I dont think the black painwork does it any favours. In silver it might look a bit sleeker and less guppy.

Overall it is very nice, but the front quarter view not so. The rear looks too high, the rear wheels too big, and it does gurn so.

I really want to like it because the main picture actually looks pretty good and I quite like the front end styling. But those C pillars ruin it for me from most other angles. They make the rear look heavy.

Awful on the eye. Surprising as new Vanquish Coupe is a beauty in terms of design language if a bit too close to DB9 for my liking design wise. Old vanquish even better looking! I think they've used old Lagonda as starting point. Whilst I love the old Lagonda this modern interpretations proportions all wrong.

Just horrible.
don't care about 3/4, side views etc. That's just subjective bs. Just ugly. But I expect they will sell plenty.

Manufacturers can register engineering prototypes without having to go through Type Approval for each individual vehicle. I suspect this car most likely would pass Type Approval but the cost/potential sale ratio is prohibitive.

They were wondering what Bond would be driving next time round, this looks great in a sinister kind or way, even better with a bit of a dechrome.

Not to my taste in how it looks but AM aren't building this for me or even people like me. Based on the looks alone it will sell very well in its intended market.

Very glad this isn't being sold in the UK - Throwing up into my lap every time I saw one would have got pretty irritating...

The roofline of this car is very strange. It's like someone started sketching from the front thinking "FLIP YEAH, SPORTS CAAAAR!", then remembered they were designing a saloon toward the back.
