Hopefully it's a success for them and a fairly creative way of fundraising for the much needed new platform. With US sales balanced neatly over a cliff edge due to new side impact safety regs, they really need this to do well.

Otherwise, it's probably going to be down to ze Germans to come along and rescue them. How embarrassing.

Only Aston Martin could get away with presenting a car like that and not get 100% "ugly comments".

Sorry to be blunt but , that looks bloody awful!

The best 4 door design was the Lamborghini Estoque concept back in 2008

Some interior shots here. Looks familiar. Shame they've gone for the chav jacket upholstery...

Aston think they have found a niche and are among the first to test the waters. Good luck to them.

if they are succesful, we'll see Bentley et al doing very similar things in the M.E.

I love the look, but there's no way the driver can sit that far away from the front of the car. Its all design and would be shortened for production , killing the look. Imagine trying to pull out from a blind junction, the bonnet would be 2m out before you;d see anything!

That's the finished car, can't imagine the driver's position is any different from the other VH stuff it's based on.

Chrome slash through the tailights clearly inspired by the cars from the other side of the (none existent) fence at Gaydon?

Gangster I would say but with a helping of Lagonda 80's quirkiness. They'll probably sell a few (i.e. tens of cars).

I do love Astons, probably one of my overall favourite looking brands, but that is UGLY frown
Yes, incredible UGLY, but magnificently daft. Conspicuous consumption for idiots, but might keep a number of British craftsmen & women gainfully employed.
