Hello PH massive, please can you help?

I recently replaced the electric aerial on my car. See photo below:

The cable from the radio to the old aerial ended in a connector (bottom in the photo). The new aerial has a connected lead with a plug (top in photo) which is designed to plug into the back of the radio.

Is there such a thing as a connector for me to join these two together (I'm not going to run the new cable all the way to the front of the car and behind the dash) or do I have to cut the ends off and join them somehow?

Thanks!

I think something like this might be what you're after:

Link

It's a DIN to ISO adapter. Probably cheaper on eBay.

Just to confirm is the connector on the head unit sticking out? Does the old connector look similar to a TV aerial connection? Might be helpful to post a pic of the face of the old connector.

I think you'll be very lucky to find one - the bottom connector doesn't look to be a standard type (probably specific to whoever made the aerial).

Thanks.

In the end I cut the ends off and wrapped the wires together, then wrapped the lot in insulation tape.

It's a bodge I know but it works and la la la la la I can't see it.
