I have the pauper version which manages without the supercharger but 400bhp still makes it a lot of fun. Currently landscaping my daughters house a V8 wheelbarrow aka Commodore Ute makes those trips to the tip much quicker. It is also fully tax deductible as it is designated as a work vehicle and the 6 speed manual with large bore exhaust you can dream you are in a Maserati as blip through your down changes.

Madness! I'll take it in yellow.
- indeed - but I think it's green or orange only, unless you break out the rattle cans..?6 minute, mildly cheesy vid with more details and a tiny bit of smoky tyre action:

How about PH running a comparo between a V8 Ford Falcon pick-up/ute and an HSV pick-up?
Lets do it before the globalisation of the modern auto industry swallows them up for good?
Aussie utes will soon disappear - or morph into something quite different. (Like a Hilux...)
This car and its Ford brethren really are last of the mohicans. The only other product that reminds me of an Aussie ute are the American el-Caminos et al

How quick are they,anybody know?
On the PH scale they are 'Dangerously Slow'.They don't get off the line too well, 0 - 60 is quoted at mid 4's but difficult to achieve.
Mark Skaife set a ute world speed record with a two way average of 168mph in the previous 'VE' model with 425hp so the GTS with 576bhp should see the far side of 180.

The world is certainly a better place for having this kind of thing.
Gloriously irrelevant, but still glorious.

Totally and utterly wonderful. Enjoy this sort of thing whilst you can, ladies and gentlemen...because the future, quite frankly, looks boring and terrifying in equal measure.
