A car for the complete insane. I want mine in red, please!
Bit too tanning parlour owner in style.

I'd take the GTS engine, brakes, vectoring system and suspension but in the standard HSV body.

Yes, definitely not the preferred choice of a euro-sophisticate...

I want one of these, so badly. Although it'd be a tough choice between this GTS, or the new 750hp Walkinshaw kit: http://www.carsales.com.au/news/large-passenger/v8...

Also, if you're heading to the drags you'd want the auto, not the manual.

So...the GTS then?

With the Aussie economy heading into the stter, it's debatable whether all the FIFO mining types will have the cash for this Boganwagen. They might then have to export the surplus to the UK...

Well, we have the XE/A4/3 for the desert boot, beige slacks & polo shirt wearing troop.

I'll take the barbed wire tattoo and fake tan please. Already wearing my vest...

HSV R8, R8 Tourer and this?

Wicked innit!

No - HSV body minus the GTS's clunky sail plane and chintzy body add ons - it doesn't exist but if it did....... smile

I want one. It's mad, barmy, stupid, pointless, crazy RWD, blown & has a V8. What more do you need in a car?

One of the chaps working for me has a SS ute with the 6.0 LS2.
Even on 20inch rims the ride quality is surprisingly good.

Very fast, very loud, very good fun!

Moved to oz in jan and have spent the last 9 months lusting after a v8 ute for no reason other than they are hilariously mental and quintessentially Aussie.

It doesn't exist because it would melt the engine quite quickly.

GTS front end is full of holes to keep it cool.

Drill some then. This is a car you can get away doing so.

I'm sure I'll see one of these soon.

A local tuning shop is putting the LSA in older generation cars. I think there has been a VE and a VZ already.

I absolutely hate utes. (and generally am not an HSV fan either) Largely attract a certain demographic, handle like crap and are just absolutely pointless.. And what I really hate about them is that I kinda find myself wanting one!

Although for $85k you can land some exotic pre-loved machinery that you won't see another 10 similar of every day..
