parking outside your house

recently moved..chap over the road is clearly riled by my parking outside his house, sandwiches my car in, moves his car the moment I vacate the spot...
why do people think they own the road outside their house? or do they?!
I sandwiched someone in when they parked in front of my drive. A bit petty perhaps but it made me laugh ...why do people think they own the road outside their house? or do they?!

Someone parked across my drive once just as a policeman was walking past. They got a ticket for it.

If you know it's annoying him, why don't you park somewhere else? Is it worth annoying your neighbour?
But no, he doesn't own the road!
i'm really not sure...But no, he doesn't own the road!

might have something to do with it I guess...I know I'm being an arse, but quite frankly, how many of us have the demeanour to pop indoors and meditate in the face of someone who behaves like a bit of a dick.
childish...and I will be well over it by next week...

Someone did something similar to me once when I parked my old Range Rover in a beach car park. Only the front of my car was up against a couple of wooden bollards. No idea why they chose to be such an arse, but they were there for quite a while as I spotted them when I collected something from the boot of the car during the afternoon. Come going home time there was no sign of them, so I just selected Low Range pushed their car backwards with mine. Jaldi said:

I moved into where i live now about 5 years ago and one bunch of neighbours seem to have this unwritten (or written as far as i know?!?!) rule that none of them park outside either's house, ever. This is all good and well as it keeps good order but one of them also owns a small van and is forever parking it outside my house. I don't have a problem with this as i always find another not too far away.
However, im in the market for a van myself, a big van. Im talking long wheel base Relay big. We'll see how long he continues to park his outside my house when that behemoth ends up outside his!

communication is as always, important.
Agreed, very much agreed. You may think you are clever or funny, but all you are doing is making your home life a misery. Get a grip, get a life, get a personality, get outside and talk to these people. You will be amazed how personable they are if you talk to them about your 'problem' with their parking.
