What items do you deem essential to carry in your car?
Discussion
Phone, wallet and keys are always with me, either in my pockets or in the door-pocket. Otherwise...
In the daily:
In the daily:
- Satnav
- Phone cradle/charger
- Bluetooth headset (not that I ever use it)
- Chewing gum/mints
- CDs (yes, still use them!)
- Spare bulbs
- Water
- Umbrella
- De-icer
- Whatever random stuff I have kicking around in the boot....
- Rain cover (all I have space for!)

Regarding water being so easy to get hold of, after 3 hours on the m11 I was glad of the spare water I'd packed. So don't mock.
The other point to make is that I'd rather pay £2.00 for 6 bottles of water in a supermarket than £1.50 for one bottle from the services. More money in my pocket means more money for sheds and (un)necessary cars and car gadgets.re: emergency bog roll:
