Forgive me, but I'm unable to process how a woman sitting on your bonnet means that it requires a complete respray - and how she has managed to mark an alloy by resting her foot on it - have you pictures of the damage caused, unless she was wearing a chainmail suit I fail to see how that could be the case??
Well there are 2-3 scratches that have went through to the primer, so in order to get a decent finish, you can't really do a spot repair then blend as you will spot it a mile off, especially with it being a pearlescent paint. Didn't look whether her jeans had metal on the rear, but I'd say it's very likely considering the damage. As for the wheel, that'll be the high heel catching it as she had her heel in between a spoke acting as a "support" for her tree trunk looking legs!

Here's some pics, if you look closely you can see small swirlmark-esque lines from where her arse slid off, and there's 3 other scratches bunched together that I tried to capture from a wide angle but the reflections made them invisible.

fk that's a lot of damage! I take it all back, you should have knocked her to the ground and then driven over her.

Indeed! Hard to get decent pictures with a phone though, had to adjust the ones above to make them more visible but at least you guys get an idea.

Every year my mum and her partner hold a rather large garden party for all their countryside friends (farmers, gamekeepers etc, not Waitroseites). About 60 people this year.

Long story short, person A got drunk and wound up person B (used to be a bit of a , supposedly turned a corner etc), who then stormed off to the other side of the yard where my EP3 was parked. Person C walks over to try and resolve the situation, to which person B responds by fighting him. Both fall into my car and leave a dent in the door.

Person B is ejected from the party, and his long term girlfriend leaves him. Nobody has seen him since. Bear in mind he's probably about 50.

Car's booked into the bodyshop to get it fixed tomorrow.

People leaning on my car annoy me enough, so I was absolutely fuming at this. I had a good mind to go through plod but couldn't be arsed with the hassle.

Nobody has seen or heard from him since (a month ago now). But I have good reassurance that it'll be paid for at some point.

Works the other way of course, a while back I was parked at a tesco on my bike. Young boy was fascinated by it (and the noise, and the strange looking dude who rode it in) and wanted a closer look. I asked his mother if he wanted to sit on the bike for a bit. Ended up with this 5 year old wearing my helmet and gloves on my bike making all the noises! He loved it, hopefully he'll remember and get into biking himself

But when i see people encouraging their kids to sit on bikes and cars, I just want to punch them. Shouted at a guy picking his boy up and plonking him on a row of bikes at a show, one after another. Scum! (Didn't see until I got closer that he was far, far bigger than me. Wouldn't have shouted if I'd seen earlier because wus)

I have nothing as startling as others have to list

Parked up in Tesco away from the crowd in my old Impreza type r. I'm on the phone just walking round and have a cig. I notice a car pull up the passenger gets out and walks over and strokes the spoiler on my car and then gets back in the car and they drive off - hmmm

Again parked in Tesco, late in the evening away from any cars and low and behold there is someone near the car(Lotus 2-11 - no roof). I am worried as I approach he is holding something - its an ice lolly oh no open top car and lolly juice (not a euphemism). Disaster averted move the lolly away from the car ....!

I'd say "get off" once, the next step would be to lob all their stuff if female, and punch them in the face if male. Most of my cars are track cars, and fairly tatty, but that's not the point. It's not theirs.

I've never had anyone sit on my car, but I caught a few teenagers on mopeds sniffing round my new XJR1300 last year. I noticed as I walked over one was sat on it, and broke into a quick march. "OFF, NOW" I said. He didn't speak but gave me a look of "what u gonna do m8?" So I grabbed him by the scruff of his addidas hoody and dragged him off. As he got to his feet they they all buggered off sharpish.

I'm not usually very aggressive and never intimidating but I was bloody livid.

While it would be very annoying to have someone sitting on your car, i'm amazed it did so much damage?

Had the paint properly hardened?

Given that car paintwork has to stand up to a fair bit of abuse from weather and other crap i'm staggered that a woman's arse did that.

Well it was out of the shop just a couple of days earlier, and took about two days worth of reassembly so roughly 5 days worth of curing. I believe that the damage was caused just by pure weight and the fact that she MUST of had metal on her jeans. As for the swirl lines, any car will get that if you rub jeans on the paint with high pressure. As for her age, late 20's I'd say. I'm 22 so would of expected her to be more conscious of what she was doing!

Unfortunately lots of people have no issue with touching and leaning on random cars. I took OH's young brother to a car show, and had to tell him to look, not touch...It wasn't until I explained what damage rubbing and leaning on cars can do, that he understood.

The owner may not have been present whilst the "posing" occurred.

There was a lot more to do and see at Silverstone last Sunday.

As for the OPs story,my piss is well n truly boiled at this public attitude to sitting on random cars.

This. People including owners were wandering all over. And obviously trusted the general public to behave with respect towards their P and Js!
