I do like to apply a touch of ACF-50. Although I use it a bit more sparingly than Mr Metcalf.

That was a great insight.

I can just picture myself driving to the south of France, in my little MR2. All the while pretending I'm in a Testarossa. I guess that's what the videos are all about!

An outboard motor, 14 bottles of Champagne and 2 Brompton bicycles as luggage, you couldn't make it up!

Just watched it. Cracked me up watching him stuffing those various items in - like an upmarket version of Top Gear's Vietnam Challenge where they had to carry all sorts of unwieldy objects on scooters.

My dream journey in my dream car ... though perhaps not in November!

I too love the idea of having a red Countach parked next to my red Testerossa...that must be SO satisfying to look out onto.
I however have to make do with what my parents got from Bburago.

Also aside from the physical journey of 'here to there'... we watch as he lavishes thousands on a bank of cylinders and upgrades the clutch and stuff , a full detail etc...then unloads a few cans of spray on it, shoves some magazines next to the radiators and drives around with a coat over his knees ....
It's somehow completely unobtainable whilst also being extremely 'real'

He seems a lot more prolific with the videos in the last few months, which is a good thing.

I know he had trouble funding them, but guess that has been resolved?

Some of the in-car stuff can be a bit tedious and over-long but the overall style and presenting is excellent. It really gives you an insight as to what it's like to own and run these cars that you don't get from a normal road test. thumbup

That's one of the magical things about cars of this era; you have to have the resources needed for 'official' maintenance but also know the tricks for on-the-fly problem solving.

I like the in-car stuff. Plenty of interesting information and feedback on the ownership experience and in a very 'real' way, like you're the passenger. It makes big budget car TV look staged and sterile.

I don't think he has trouble funding them, per se, i think it was more so finding a way to make them pay for themselves.

Sounds silly, but he manages to demonstrate just how wealthy he is without making it look like he's showing off; his life looks spot-on. His Q&As on Twitter was brilliant too; his passion and knowledge surrounding motorised vehicles is astounding.

I think Harry is brilliant.

I love his real world take on owing and running his fleet.

His knowledge seems to be second to none, the walk around with RM auctions and the SL600 are my two favourites

Was anyone else wincing slightly as things were getting stuffed in/nothing protecting the carpets etc?

In the early 90s a dead sheep was slung in the boot of a Testarossa and then driven back across the field so and an outboard driven across France seems highly plausible.

In an era of supercars being purchased as 'investments', never to driven on public roads, it's great to see someone actually using them as a car. No one wants to see them being abused, but a few marks on the carpet shouldn't detract from the joy of owning and driving it.

I liked the one where he took it to Moroco have still got a Vivid image in my mind of the way the car was being shaken over the ruts near the hotel - a brilliant way to use a Ferrari!

Agree with most of that, but an old clean towel wouldn't have gone amiss. I do this on all my cars, even the ones that aren't worth a fraction of Hazza's Fezza.
Anyway, enough of this. It's a great YouTube channel, probably the best on YT.
