Wow - a mixed reaction - which is kind of what I expected, although some of you lot miss the point.
Chill out - they're just my choices.
To the people who think it's a crap garage - I bet I can predict yours!
Why is someone whose joined PH today posting a 100k Garage anyway?Chill out - they're just my choices.

What's going on here, PH?

Maybe because this garage prompts debate and opinion more than a 'garage' full of Germany V8 estates and Elises? I'm not saying one is better than the other because it's entirely subjective. I'd prefer the latter, but this garage has entertained me more having broadened my knowledge of what's out there. Just my opinion. What's going on here, PH?
Also, you can be a car enthusiast, a fan of the site, and hold true to the principles and values of a PHer without being a member, surely? *cue Airplane tributes*
Very interesting and eclectic mix of choices. I agree with the Morgan ( I must own one, someday!), the SportSpider (sadly, never sold in the US), and the Lambretta (If I did one of these 100K garage things, it would be comprised of a mix of motorcycles, a vintage car or two and, perhaps, even a scooter). Can't speak to the Zafira, as it's a model I'm not familiar with.
The SSR is definitely a left-field choice, however. These things were much maligned, even in the US. Too heavy to be a sports car, not really usable as a truck; a somewhat strange retro pastiche of a '50s Chevy pickup that never existed, courtesy of "Maximum Bob" Lutz. Much of the criticism was due to the lack-luster performance of the early SSRs, with their 5.3 litre engines and 4-speed slushboxes. The later ones got the 6 litre V8 from the Corvette and, finally, a six-speed manual which drastically improved the car. It's always an event to see one on the road, as they are quite rare, even in the land whence they came. I can't imagine the amount of attention one would receive in the UK! For that reason alone, I completely understand his choice. If he wants something not likely to ever be seen on UK roads, the SSR fits the bill. They also had some attractive paint choices, like a flip-flop/chameleon blue/purple, similar to TVR. It's one of those kinds of vehicles that, if parked next to a supercar, often will get more attention than the Ferrari/whatever next to it.

It all makes perfect sense! 230bhp, fwd, 7 recaro seats, sub woofer in the boot. Sports suspension. Howeh man!

Wow. Quite cross! Relax Keyboard Warrior - unless you are getting married in the North East, I'm not really interested in your business anyway! It was more just a photo of my car as this is a forum about cars.
