Hi all,

Does anyone know where in the Leeds/North or west Yorkshire area I can get my 2014 VW Caddy soundproofed?

I love my van, and removed the bulkhead to give myself more legroom, which I DO NOT recommend if you transport machinery, poles etc as there is nothing stopping your load slipping forward into you in the event of an accident... But removing the bulkhead really does improve leg space, well needed for us that are 6ft plus! But the road noise is stupid high above 60mph, and I have the bluetooth sat nav system so when people call me when im on the road its difficult to hear them properly over the road noise, so need to find someone who can soundproof the van for me, without breaking the bank or using really expensive soundproofing sheets.

Anyone point me in the right direction??

Thanks

You don't need to cover the whole van in Dynamat type sheets. Just a few strips glued to a large panel will dampen the vibrations.

Can you get a rubbery plastic load liner for the Caddy? Or depending on what you carry a cheap offcut of really thick rubber/foam backed carpet?

If you get in touch with John at Yorkshire Tinting (as well as - Yorkshire Automotive, Dubzero Vans amongst many other names/websites) as he does caddy conversions including carpeting and sound proofing. Tell him Tom @ Divine Automotive sent you smile
