Buy the Philips kit & fit yourself in around 30mins.

They look like OEM & are nice and bright and multi directional.

How do you deactivate the DRL? Is it legal to do so? I feel like a right chav with them.

I will go against the flow and say i have fitted aftermarket DRLs to my landrover defender

And they have worked brilliantly

Couldn't be happier with them

They are fitted to the roll cage above the front doors and they give a brilliant flood light to the side in the dark

Same problem here.

I think they look like modern chav neons and I always wondered why people didn't disable them. Until I realised that on new cars like my Audi you cannot, without the dealer doing it.

Also, the amount of factory fit cars who forget to put their proper lights on because their dash lights with DRL's. But nothing at the rear.

Why do you think they look chavy the majority of cars have them now.

On vag cars it's simple, hold down the trip or going into the computer, go to lights and vision, drl and turn them off.

I see this a lot.

All new cars have to have them in some form, not always LED.
I don't think we've reached a majority of vehicles on the road that have them yet though.

Well, it isn't, is it? As Hol says, recent cars like his Audi no longer have this option.

I wonder if when theres a majority of cars with DRL's fitted there will be more accidents involving people "not seeing" cars that dont have them?
