Help identifying car part.

Hi all

Does anyone know what car part this is?

It came from the boot and sounded it like it fell off something but I can't for the life of me find where it goes.

I first thought it might be the thing that keeps the spare wheel in place, but if you said it "fell" from somewhere, it can't be.

that lookslike its from a sink plug hole,, Its defo not out of a vauxhall

Well it's funny you say that because that's exactly what I was looking at (spare wheel) it sounded like it pinged/fell from somewhere. When putting the spare wheel back in place there is a very similar looking plastic part that locks the spare wheel in place, so I believe you're in the right area! But still, can't find it in the manual etc o.O

Its the cover of the tweeter speaker just under the parcel shelf on the passanger side of the car.

Thanks for that. That sounds very confident although I'm unable to find where I'll be able to re-attach??

I've had a look at both speakers (through a rectangular hole on both sides and they all seem pretty tight. (There's no way I can get to the speakers without removing things not easily removed)

Is it wise to have this part floating about?

Its only a cover to protect the speaker from damage. I wouldnt worry about it too much.
